I feel like I used to be good at writing bios, but that skill has left me. This is my home base! I love Star Wars, vidya, computers, and music. There are a million things I want to do but I can never seem to find the time to do them.
This site is built using Aurora, which is a static site generator that I chose primarily because it was built with Python. I like it so far! But I still have a ton to learn, as you might guess from the state of things around here. I chose to build this with Aurora because I'd done simple things with basic HTML/CSS before, but I wanted this to be a more permanent place for me on the web, and trying to do all of the work to build out a site structure manually felt doable but tedious. Plus, I like learning new things!
I write code sometimes too! Mostly Python, but I want to branch out someday. You can find all of that here. So far I've just written software that's useful to me, but maybe someone else could get something out of it.

Computers!
I've certainly got too many of these, but if I'm not gonna post their specs here, why even bother keeping them?
Main desktop
I built my gaming PC in the early spring of 2013 and it's been with me (well, the case and CD drive have) all that time! I definitely spend too much time on it, but what are you gonna do?
- CPU: Intel Core i7-13700K
- Mobo: ASRock Z790 Pro RS
- GPU: Intel Arc A770
- RAM: 64GB
- Drives:
- 240GB SATA SSD: Windows 11 (for convenience/stability)
- 2TB M.2 SSD: CachyOS Linux, KDE Plasma (for when I wanna have fun fighting my PC)
- 1TB SATA SSD: Games!
- 1TB SATA HDD: Random Data/Old Games (ancient and should be replaced lol. A relic of the original build that's somehow still going strong!)
- 500GB M.2 SSD: Mostly large games like Call of Duty that suck up more space than they should
Main "server"
A collection of parts that have come out of my main machine that I threw into a spare case to use as a file server and media machine. It's not a TRUE server in that I sometimes use it as a standard desktop connected to a TV, but I mainly use it via SSH so I call it a server anyway.
- CPU: Intel Core i5-7600K
- Mobo: Asus PRIME Z270-A
- GPU: RTX 3050
- RAM: 16GB
- Drives:
- 250GB SATA SSD: Ubuntu Server 24.04
- 8TB SATA HDD: General purpose file server drive
- 8TB SATA HDD: Plex media, music library, etc.
Offsite backup host
This machine lives at my parents' house, where it quietly sits in the corner and doesn't bother them in the slightest. She's so polite. I built it out of one of my mom's old work machines!
- CPU: Intel Core i5-2400
- Mobo: Dell model: 0J3C2F v: A00
- GPU: Some shit that's screwed into the machine in such a way that I have to take the mobo out to remove it, and as long as it's connected, I can't use DisplayPort and have to instead dig out a Dual DVI cable/monitor any time I need a display. Ugh.
- RAM: 16GB
- Drives:
- 250GB SATA SSD: Debian, GNOME
- 6TB SATA HDD: Backups (ideally I'll update this to have some redundancy soon)
Laptop
My home away from home! Covered in stickers and cringey as hell. I love it.
- CPU: Intel Core i5-8250U
- Mobo: It's across the room right now and I can't be bothered to get up and run inxi
- RAM: 8GB
- Drives:
- 256GB M.2 SSD: Debian, KDE Plasma
MLLSE Mini PC
This bad boy runs my Pihole as well as my ebook server since when I built it out, it was more reliable than my Raspberry Pi.
- CPU: Intel Pentium J3710
- Mobo: ?????
- RAM: 8GB
- Drives:
- 250GB M.2: Debian headless
Raspberry Pi 4B 8GB
Man, I'm not typing these specs out. This thing hosts some of my more important infrastructure that's only important to me, and non-critical at that. But I do love it, since it was a big step on my Linux and open-source journey. I've been playing with Linux since 2010/2011 when I created an Ubuntu live CD to boot on the family computer, but things didn't start getting serious until I got the Pi in 2018. It's been all downhill from there. Sigh.
